Storypath provides resources connecting weekly passages from both the Revised Common Lectionary and the Narrative Lectionary with stories from children’s and youth literature.
Beginning Wednesday, August 1, 2016, we will post linking themes between a book written for children or adolescents with the preaching text (not the accompanying text) for a particular Sunday in the Narrative Lectionary (NL). Resources for the Revised Common Lectionary (semicontinuous track) will continue to be posted every Friday. The posts for both lectionaries will highlight a particular way that the chosen books could be used for preaching or teaching with the particular texts. Most of these books will be available at a public library, even if they aren’t in print. Alibris and Abebooks are two good sources of out of print material if you want any of these books for your own collections.
