Tell Them a Story: Recommended Books
“When our children ask us in time to come, ‘What is the meaning of the decrees and the statutes and the ordinances that the LORD our God has commanded us?’ then we will say to our children…” (Deut. 6:20) What?… What will we say?
Tell them a story. Tell them a story about God; tell them a story about children; tell them a story about the world; tell them a story about the nature of their relationship to God, the world, and each other. Tell them a story.
The attached article points you to some excellent books that tells stories about gratitude, hope, forgiveness, God’s love and and care. You might consider giving a few as Christmas gifts.

I would love to follow this website with all its links. I need a class on social networking, blogs, and how to use all those things in relationship with ministry, and with marketing for my retreat and conference center. Is there such a class?
Also, I have lots of great children’s books that I can recommend and/or offer some reviews on if you have a form that I can follow like the others on this site.
Will this site (or parts of it) become open to contributions fromalumni/ae?
